I’ve recently been on a total liquid and matte lipstick binge get link but a friend recommended the NYX High Voltage Lipsticks to me so obviously I had to give them a try. I know, I know, more nude lipsticks. I have no excuse, I just love nude lip colours. I picked up the shades ‘Mirage’ & ‘Stone’. I picked mine up in Shaws in Limerick and Cara Pharmacy in Galway.
http://dr-buckner.com/challenger-preschool/iggy-azaleas-booty-ful-performance-in-premios-juventud-1/ So what do I think of the NYX High Voltage Lipsticks? Firstly, these lipsticks are super creamy. They aren’t shimmery at all and they have a really http://iloveny.dk/2011/07/01/im-coming-home/ rich finish. Second, I really like their semi-opaque pigmentation. The colour payoff in these glossy lipsticks is awesome! High Voltage is definitely a suitable name for these gems! One slick over the lips gives a really great, non streaky finish.
They have a huge range a colours with 22 different shades overall. I’ve stuck to my nudes this time but I’d love to pick up a deep red next time. These nudes perfectly suit my NW10 pale skin. I also really like the creamy consistency of these. Sometimes lipsticks that are this pigmented tend to be drying and ‘gunky’ but these almost feel moisturising. They are pigmented yet lightweight. I love it!
The only downside to the High Voltage Lipsticks is that the packaging is only ok. I don’t know if it’s juat mine but the lids keep falling off so beware if you’re keeping one of these in your pocket or loose in your purse.
These NYX High Voltage Lipsticks cost €7.75 each. Overall, I really love these lipsticks. They don’t stain. They’re reasonable priced and highly pigmented.
